How many times have you heard that Time is Money? Your time is worth much more than you may be giving yourself credit for.
Most people have not put enough thought into this topic.
How much is your time actually worth? You really need to sit down and figure out this number if you’re serious about your business. Here is one of my favorite things to ask myself on a daily basis… “Why Am I Doing This?” Why am I wasting my time on low-level work that can be handled by others on my team?
Once again how much is your time worth? If you don’t have an hourly figure yet you need to sit down and figure out the math formula so you can start managing your time like a professional.
Rule number one is to always focus on what we call “ money making activities”! Increase the number of hours you spend on directly making you money and increase that number exponentially my friends.
Some examples that we work on are: blogging, blog design, WordPress website design, custom blog themes, product development, promoting existing affiliate products, promotions, custom landing page creation, website design, niche product research, market research, ad copy, support, FTC legal regulations, and new overall business models.
We are spending a lot of time locally with “Atlanta Blog Designs” and “Atlanta Website Designs” based on the WordPress platform… due to our geographic location… people still love the personal touch
Remember I said “we work on” not “I work on”. I have a team that helps me manage all of the pieces of the puzzle that make a complete free-flowing online business. Focus on what you do best and ask for help with the rest of it.
Keep this in mind…When “I” am working on the most critical aspects of the business, I STAY LASER FOCUSED at all times. I don’t have the phone on, email is OFF, Skype is OFF, and my kids, dogs and other distractions are removed from my private think tank area that I created for this mission critical activity!
Massive Action Equals Massive Results and you cannot achieve this with distractions.
Your time can give you a 5 to 6 figure per month home-based business but you need to have a business plan, you need to flow-chart out your business model and you need to stay focused. Success does have its price but if you are willing to pay your dues, the rewards far outweigh the pain during your first year in business.
Take my word for it…prepare your friends and family for your new adventure and dive into the deep end of the pool! Time Management people…time management…
Yours in Focusing Your Way To Success,
Scott Jay Ringle
